- lol we had some massive internet technical issues here yesterday that left us without it for a day, so... finishing up just the last bit of my 76 rewatch here, too!
- and it's just that cute moment where fjord gets his groove back (and is magic again) and looks delightedly at nott before testing out his eldritch blast off a cliff and doing it in his texblade accent and nott just delightedly cheering back 'ooh YEEHAW!!!' i love that moment so so much, still,
- STAR RAZOR :')
- ALSO jester making dozens of snow angels and also caleb drawing one out of boredom while waiting for fjord to 'attune' to the star razor lmao <3
- lol everyone searching for dairon and beau 'panic' checking the xhorhaus basement and just getting into the hot tub kdsjfgklj
- doo doo doo dooooo doo hm hm DONUTS
- and it is just fucking wild hearing essek talking about the M9 owing 'debt' and bringing in more information about the beacons and even beau being mildly suspicious of him and it's just!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and also caduceus later like 'haha what if the suspect is essek') he is SUCH AN ASSHOLE AND I LOVE HIM BUT HE IS AN ASSHOLEEE

- (but also lol jester going along to watch it anyway) (and also when she climbs up onto the chair essek suspended with the immovable object spell and then he drops it and she falls awkwardly lmgkjdklj)
- loool essek and caleb STILL flirting hard while the rest of the M9 just eye them like 'are you seeing this??? i'm seeing something here???' and matt texting two of the dunamancy spells to liam and liam fake reading it like 'yo widogast u up?'
- weh caleb asking essek if they're friends now and essek agreeing BUT AUGHHHHHHHHHHH
- just thinking about essek talking about the kryn echo knights. and now knowing his brother verin is also one (thanks to call of the netherdeep) and showed up in the most recent episode in C3 augh
- lol essek and caleb just humoring jester as she tries to read some dunamantic equations <3 (but also lol caleb reassuring her that she's still an amazing fighter and jester reassuring caleb that even though what he went through with the scourger was hard, the M9 have his back and he can always talk to her ;o;)

- TELEPORTATION CIRCLE RUN LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO (almost died laughing the first time i listened)
- after all of this absolute fucking chaos, matt putting on a general 'medieval city background ambience noise' and sam hilariously telling the party to move aside every time a cart sound 'passes by'
- the M9 trying to foist their horses off on essek as a 'gift' and fjord like 'these are empire horses... they may know something' and essek TRYING hard not to crack and laugh
- (but also the gang annoying the shit out of essek by requesting him to teleport them somewhere else after already teleporting them once loool and him just.. SO frustrated) (and fjord feeling like SUCH an asshole lol)
- jester: 'do you wanna hang out with us and stuff,'
essek: 'there would be nothing i would love more than to not be around you all for the remainder of this day,'
- and also caleb flirting with essek again and doing the arm squeeze and essek pulling away out of frustration at potentially being cajoled/appealed to in a honeypotting way (which caleb was doing!!) (BUT STILL, THERE ARE FEELINGS THERE, TOO, ESSEK,) (but also lol fjord looking between them and whispering 'what is with them??' to beau and the two of them exchanging looks lol)
- jester just so sad about yasha <33333333 she just loves her friends so so much

- just in my feels about allura meeting the M9 for the first time and now they're all working together and she knows them fairly well ;~; they are her friends now!!!!

- interestingly... i think this time around i've noticed that beau's fighting style really matches marisha's playstyle??? more than keyleth and laudna. just that marisha seems more the type to want to take bigger physical risks with dnd fighting and beau's personality is more befitting toward taking risks, lol. and obvs marisha loves laudna and keyleth, but with beau i think she really gets to let loose, which is fascinating to watch tbh,
- oh, beau getting her circlet, i almost forgot it was at this point
- lmao caleb like 'i want to devour that desk' (that has tons of papers and notebooks)
- the creepy permaheart beating bg ambience just still gets to you so much lol

- i just think it's cute how sam has nott/veth make little scurrying noises all the time in c2 and then travis as chetney does the same thing in c3
