- i still appreciate that the M9 got in so much actual training as sailors - they know how to fucking sail! they became crewmembers! they know how to repair shit and how the sails work and the typical ship daily work. THEY DEVELOP THE SKILLS. it's so so good. i'm still so glad! (maybe not many years of skills on the ocean - until much later in C3 maybe for some of them, lol - but still!!!)

- i just!!! love how useful ice magic is for mundane food purposes and preservation. in any story! they have iceboxes in exandria and i love it so much.
